The MangaBake Story

Cakes have always played a part in our lives from a young age; Birthdays and celebrations were always accompanied by homemade treats. We've made countless cakes over the years, ranging from simple Victoria sponges and our specialty Lemon Drizzle, to more complicated character cakes like Thomas the Tank Engine, Stitch and a Princess Castle.

For us, baking is not a chore or a job. It’s something we’ve found comfort and relaxation in and have grown to love it. The Lamington - a tasty sponge cake dipped in a flavoured coating, rolled in coconut shavings - is a specialty from down under that our Kiwi cousins introduced to us many years ago and they've grown to become a firm favourite for our friends and family.
